Storm Debris Chipping
After the storm, the wood still has to go
After wind, ice, or tornado-related damage, downed limbs and small trees pile up fast. Chipping gets the debris reduced and either spread or hauled so cleanup is not stuck waiting on a burn pile.
Storm piles are often mixed and tangled, and may contain material that is not chippable. We assess each job and tell you what we can process.
$200 PER HOUR — ONE-HOUR MINIMUM
First hour: $200 minimum. Minimum service charge: $200. Additional time is billed at the same $200 hourly rate. Final charges and any applicable additional fees must be explained before work begins.

What qualifies
- Downed limbs and branches
- Small trees cut into manageable lengths
- Shredded or broken woody debris
- Pine and hardwood storm wood within rated capacity
Limits to know
- Up-to-13-inch rated capacity, subject to operating conditions and material.
- Debris that includes roofing, siding, fencing, insulation, or trash must be removed first.
- Partly buried or dirt-covered wood may not be chipped.
- Stay clear of downed power lines, hanging limbs and unstable trees. Chipping is not a substitute for utility or emergency hazard response.
- We do not guarantee timeline after a storm; demand can be high.
Why storm piles need sorting
- Mixed storm debris can include material that damages the chipper.
- Tangled limbs slow feeding and increase labor time.
- Large trunks near the machine's rating may need to be cut down further.

How to prepare
- Separate wood from building materials, trash, and metal.
- Pull limbs clear of the structure and dirt where it is safe.
- Do not move wood that is under tension or tangled in power lines.
- Call your utility for any lines down. Do not attempt to move that wood yourself.
